Second highest fertility in the Nordic countries

For the second year in a row fertility is below reproduction level, but still the second highest in the Nordic countries, where only the Faroe Islands have higher fertility. On average, Greenlandic women give birth their first child 5 years earlier than women in the Nordic countries. In 2013, the average age of first time mothers were 23.5 years.
